HI,
I live in the UK. I have a technical question about routers pls.
This is my setup:
Virgin Media 1GB Connection -> Connected to my AX11000 router via 2.5G port
Vodafone DSL 70MB Connection -> Connected to my AX11000 router via 1GB Port
I have 2 internet connections. Virgin is Fibre and Vodafone is DSL.
I want to use DUAL WAN with FAILOVER mode so that if my Virgin connection is lost, Vodafone connection will take over.
The issue is that the Vodafone Router cannot be put in Modem Mode, which creates issue with the DUAL WAN.
So I bought the ASUS DSL-AX82U router to replace the ISP-owned Vodafone router.
QUESTION: In which mode should I put the DSL router to make all of this work please?
The final config should be:
DSL Wall socket -> DSL port on AX82U -> Ethernet cable to AX11000's 1GB port
Fibre Wall socket -> Virgin Router (in modem mode) -> Ethernet cable to AX11000's 2.5 GB port
Thanks a lot

Oh my goodness, this post is a duplicate of
Replacing VF router with Asus DSL-AX82U to use in ... - Community home (vodafone.co.uk)
Are they both scammers, or just this one? Guess we will have to wait for the dodgy link to find out.

@AnnS It looks like it was originally posed here first by someone who has been a regular user. The Reddit post timestamp is later.
