I have Fibre 200, speeds off VPN are 90-130Mbs down 20-30Mbs up, when working from him using Citrix gateway VPN I get 2 to 5 MBs down 20-30Mbs up. Vodafone chat advisor say nothing wrong with ISP and to talk to work IT. Work IT says nothing wrong with and to talk to ISP.
im inclined to think it’s ISP issue as VPN speed on other networks (neighbours plus net, my phone hotspot) if fine.
other issue are, even off VPN, I get ping of 30-50ms but every 30s seconds I get spikes up to 3000ms.
packetlosstest.com says I get 5-10% packets lost.
streaming stutters, FaceTime video drops out, webpages stop loading and need refresh, I get kicked off MS Teams calls.
i have tried Ethernet, changing router from THG3000 to another I have, DECO X50. I have fiddled with ping -f -l and found 1432 with no loss, but changing this on the router didn’t help, so put back to 1492 specified by Vodafone.
my bandwidth is not overloaded. Only have 12 devices but none in use when testing.
what are people’s thoughts? How can I escalate this past the chat advisor to someone more technical. They were obviously running through a script, (reset modem, reset ONT, run their line test, told me to relocate my router even though I’m hard wired!), trying to sell package upgrade.
Thanks

Not on THG3000. I tested using a few different routers with better options to see if it would help any of the issues I had. I tried router that had MTU option, QoS, etc

Which tier are you on with citrix? Each tier has it's own speed limits. Citrix is not a straight VPN, so finding info on it is like pulling teeth.
