Was just on the phone to Virgin, cancelling my current package, and the guy kept going on about how there are "hidden" costs to getting the Cityfibre connection completed into the property? Is this true? I couldn't see any installation charges on my Vodafone docs nor the Cityfibre contract I signed for them to potentially (probabaly) dig up the garden.

2 days ago had Vodafone/cityfiber installed, not had any mention of additional costs.

I've not heard of anyone being charged. It is really all part of the fibre roll out, they just don't complete the last bit until actually needed.

Yeah that the part they were referring to, the installation between the street and house was going to incur additional charges.

Tbh that's what I was thinking too. Was trying more to throw Voda/Cityfibre under the bus than giving me discounts for staying 😂
