Vodafone Station - Generic Modem

Hi to all,

I just closed my FWA subscription with Vodafone. I have the Vodafone Power Station modem with Nokia Fastmile 4G receiver and I would like to use it with another ISP like Iliad for example.

I've set my modem as generic, I parameterized it as WAN FIBER.

The internet light on the modem is fixed so it looks like it's working but actually doesn't: I don't access to internet.

Do you know a working way? Can you help me?

Thank you!

All the Vodafone Broadband routers are locked to the Vodafone service.

Are you sure?

I read everywhere on internet that's possibile using it with Generic Modem option, findable on http://192.168.1.1/ under "settings" in expert mode.

Nope. It'll only authenticate on Vodafone servers using PPPoE.

Looks like your's is set up for the 4G USB modem (that's what it means by "generic"). Still needs to authenticate. Try it with another modem, read the logs and see what happens.

BTW, WAN Fibre is FTTP.

@achiacchiari

Are you in the U,K.? The Vodafone Power Station was (AFAIK) never available here.

No, I'm in Italy.

Then you are on the wrong forum, this is for the U.K.

Yeah I know it's the British forum but I wrote here because I didn't find nothing on Italian forums

In the UK Vodafone routers are locked to the Vodafone Broadband service. We have no knowledge of what systems/methods are in use in Italy. Sorry.
