Hi
Hoping someone can help!
Since the beginning of January, my Vodafone broadband connection keeps dropping with my Sky Q box. This happens several times a day for no apparent reason. I also have 2 mini boxes so when the main one cuts out it knocks the others offline as well
I spoke to Vodafone (after speaking to Sky who said it wasn't their issue) and they changed my network name and added in a 5ghz connection. The same problem persisted and has now actually made it worse. Of course the tech support lady said she would phone me back a few days later to check it was resolved - SHOCK! she didn't call
I can manually reconnect the sky box and this resolves the issue but I'm fed up of doing it 10 times a day. No other WiFi connection has any issues, just Sky Q. Also changing the name of broadband was a nightmare as I have 20+ connections so I had to reset everything which took me a week!
Can someone please help?!

Hi
I've just received my new super hub & I too am having issues with my sky q connection dropping out. I thought it was due to my wired connection going to a hub prior to the tv, sky q & android box but I guess theres another issue with the Vodafone super hub. I hope someone has an answer.
Thanks.

I also am having a nightmare with dropped connections to SKY Q box...currently wished I did not switch from BT Broadband ....In SKY Settings section can see the Network dropping , reconnecting , no internet behind the wifi signal before my eyes...not timed it but cycles every 3- -60 seconds or so. Has anyone received a proper answer from Vodafone yet that has resolved the issue ...I am in Solent area....the broadband disintegrates every evening.
Have Superfast BB operating below guaranteed threshold but appears on surface to be adequate 50MBps...something is not right but cannot figure out where the problem is sourced...really do not want to get batted between Vodafone and SKY ....any one got a fix please?

Just to add to my post earlier, my sky connection seems to have settled down without me having to change any DNS settings etc.
Thanks for all the comments

Hi i have also had the same issue but solved it. After trawling round all the forums and having 2 sky engineers out, i discovered the fix on youtube and it did work.
I have not changed the last bit as in the info as mine stayed connected and didnt drop out but i have saved the tutorial so that if i need to do in future if it drops out then i will be able to.
Hope this gets you sorted i was pulling my hair out and could find no answers anywhere.
