WiFi booster using channel 12

I noticed my super WiFi booster is using 2.4GHz channel 12 whereas my main router is using channel 11.

My understanding is that they should normally stick to channels 1, 6 or 11 as having overlaps can cause issues for my own network as well as neighbours.

Without any way of manually setting channels should I be concerned?

That is not strictly true for the U.K. and Europe, all 13 channels are available. The only problem is if you are using a device that is not intended for use here it may not be able to use 12 or 13.
