last month i bought a Vodafone broadband and when i was getting a contract they told me they ll send an engineer to install it but when i receive they router in parcel they said you do not need engineer you ll do it yourself i call straightaway vodafone and told them please send an engineer as you guys promised but they said no its easy you ll do it , I said ok after 2 week when my activation date comes it didn't work i called vodafone again and ask can you please check they said don't worry it work after midnight obviously it didn't work , next day i called again and asked engineer they said we will sort out but obviously Vodafone good for nothing . after 2 hour they said they require  an engineer to fix this issue but to send and engineer you have to wait. great they didn't bealive me I was keep telling them same thing from 2 weeks and now lets see when engineer will come and sort it out so in SHORT NEVER EVER BELIVE VODAFONE WHEN BUYING A CONTRACT THEY CAN SAY ANYTHING JUST TO SELL after that they can just say sorry.

Hi @urfi1 - it's disappointing to hear the different information you're getting. If it's still not active, then please send my team a message over on one of our Social Channels. We can then liaise with our Activations team for you.

Thanks for your reply it's not active but I had a call from Vodafone they said the Wil send manager 14/12/2023. So hope they ll send an engineer and it ll sort it out but horrible experience with Vodafone. I ll Never recommend anyone Vodafone

@urfi1  I am not a VF employee, but I want to say that you should be aware that the line to your house is supplied by a different company, usually BT OpenReach or CityFibre, and as such there's a succession of dependencies in delivering a broadband service. So it's not really going to help get your situation resolved by shouting (using CAPs is traditionally viewed as shouting on fora and bulletin boards). Yes, VF do mess things up from time-to-time and that has happened to me. They also fixed my fault too. They also have hundreds of thousands of customers who are satisfied with their experience and for most discussions on here we are a minority of customers facing a problem.

Hi . Just to let you know I moved to new house that's why I didn't know about the line supply by who. And I ordered this before and I told Vodafone it's I am moving to different place . They offered me engineer services when I bought this contract they could say to me no it's easy you can do it by yourself but when I receive my router I got a message u don't need engineer my main issue is Vodafone didn't listen to me and bold capital word I used for attention of people do not blindly sign contract when you are dealing with Vodafone they will resolve my issue as well I know but they shouldn't say something which they can't do it.
