very annoying problem which i cant track down!
we are on fttp using the VF ultrahub - speeds seem ok 900, latency ok 10-20ms, most things work ok, but.... two smart TV (hisense Roku) the majority of apps work, but NowTV and Disney simply wont work. The applications start, but when you select something to stream they just hang/timeout. eventually Now might come up with a "no more CDNs to try" message.
ive today moved to a static IP from VF to ensure it wasnt ip related (before moving to static IP my IP was coming up as from Russia in most geo lookups which i was hoping was the issue, but apparently not)
i can see the TV has hardcoded DNS to googles 8.8.8.8 (i have tried changing the router DNS to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8) but that ip (8.8.8.8 still resolves) so i cant see what the issue would be. but if i access nowtv from a phone or laptop it works fine, so it is something to do with the TV networking somehow....
given the router i cant add firewall rules (or not that i can see) so i cant force the TV to use a different DNS through port blocking
any ideas as its driving me mad?!?!?
if i connect the TV to mobile hotspot / 4G then it all works fine.
TV have been both wifi and wired to the router - makes no odds on either.
gateway of 84.65.0.1 if it makes any odds.

If anyone's reading this and suffering the same fate, I seem to have resolved it, but i dont know how....
I enabled a guest network on the WiFi
I had the intention of moving the tv to the guest network in the hope that might show something different (or bypass VF content protection etc), but to my surprise just by turning on the guest network both the wired and WiFi tvs now work.
I honestly have no idea why or how this has resolved it, but i thought I'd share my experience incase it helps anyone else.
My only thought is some mad router firmware bug.
Ideas welcomed!!!

Hi,
I had exactly the same issue as you.
Tried to change loads of settings on the router, but nothing seemed to work. Enabled guest WiFi as you suggested and it still didn't work.
I then did a factory reset, and it started working again.
Is it possible it's only working on certain channels or something, so a reset which may change WiFi channels makes it work?
Mine is now working, connected to channel 36
