Even with a small bungalow the Vodafone router WiFi is not reaching the bedrooms, I have tried 2 Repeaters and although they pickup the router well. Both then ask for my password (which is the same as the router password). However, when I put this in, I am told it is incorrect. I suspect this is something to do with the MAC settings. Any suggestions? Do Vodafone have their own way of improving WiFi that is compatible?

It may be that you have used the incorrect terminology, but it is the wifi password they require not the router password.

Yes, sorry....WiFi password used. ( but I also tried router/hub password!)

Do they have a WPS button so you can use that to connect to the router?

Which repeaters do you have?

Hi

Yes used WPS with both. Also tried QR Scan.

Looks like I will have to run a phone line to the centre of the bungalow for the router and not use a booster (Or find a ten year old to fix it. 🙂)

It may be best to get some advice before trying to move the router as routers do not like running on phone extensions.

Any details on the type of booster?
