Hi, I’ve been having issues with internet dropping out all the time. It’s been happening since I’ve been with Vodafone. Constantly on the live chat, and tec 2 team. Had openreach around my house 3 times in the past month, but they tell me there’s nothing wrong with the line. It’s happens about 4/5 times when I’m trying to watch a film. The green internet and Wi-fi light slowly pulse sometimes the internet light flashes red then I have to turn it off then on again. So fed up of this now. Any help I’d appreciate. I’ve tried changing channels on the router etc. The last Openreach Guy said get another router sent. How would I go about getting that ?

Hi, I had a similar fault but it was my open reach master socket. Have you tried removing the faceplate and connecting your broadband into the master 'test socket' which is behind the main phone socket. This is only relevant if you're on fibre broadband. Not Gigafast You will need to connect a microfilter to split the phone and broadband line before connecting to the test socket.

Thank you for your reply. Yes had it plugged into the test socket for days so Vodafone could see how many dropouts there were. Didn’t make any difference and openreach engineer tested it to.

Disappointing, sounds like the router is the next option... Good luck

I have had the same problem ever since I joined Vodafone. Luckily for me their latest line tests detected a faulty modem and the say they will send a new one. See my post here:https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Broadband-connection/Broadband-dropping-out-constantly/m-p/2667948#M...
