Tried helpline. Couldn't understand them. Have had 5.8mb for months. Am on fttc.

Today speed is lower.

Have rebooted many times.

I give up.......

If you are getting nowhere with standard support, perhaps raise an official complaint.

Can't quote on a mobile.

That could be a big part of your problem. The DSLAM in the cabinet could be interpreting your disconnects as a fault and is reducing your sync rate in an effort to get your line stable.

If vodafone won't order a DLM reset for your line then having it constantly connected for at least a couple of weeks should start bringing increases.

Or am I just mad?

As you have obviously been here for a long time, your contract must be about up. Have you considered trying another ISP where the support may be a bit more responsive?
