Aberdeen - dreadful speeds tonight - line congestion?

On CityFibre 900 and speeds are near unusable. Switched to the mobile dongle and they were even worse.

What is going on?

Got a call today from support they are passing my case to Cityfibre to investigate.

Red herring.

I've been with Zen, over cityfibre, for a day and a half now with no slowdowns or ping loss. ##~## all wrong with cityfibre's gear.

Do you know if the typical "waiting for a reply from cityfibre" was what they meant or is cityfibre actually going to be investigating properly? 

The last ticket I had before my current one just kept saying "waiting for a reply from cityfibre" everyday until it stopped saying that and i had no communication at all, wasn't told what cityfibre "replied", then it was closed even though I kept putting messages in saying the issues hadn't gone away. 

Also when did support call you? They've tried to phone me today and yesterday at 9am-10am, even though when I was asked what my preffered time slot was, I was Evening as I can't take calls that early in the day. 

They called me today to also say City Fibre are investigating. Yet they told my sister, who lives a few doors away, that CityFibre had acknowledged the issue and were working on a fix that will take 2 weeks 🤣

It's all just complete nonsense to get you off the phone mate

Yeah defo seems like it 🤣. They'll just keep blaming cityfibre, rather than acknowledge it's an issue from the vodafone themselves.

Phoned today but got cut off.They texted me to say Cityfibre were investigating and would get back to me in 24hrs for an update.

Yeah that seems the generic response I'd always get on the ticket I had before. There would never be a response, it would repeat the same message but change the date to the next day, and that would happen most days until it randomly stopped and there was no further messages or communication.

Can you tell when my Vodafone connection ended? Photo is of 7 days worth of 6 speed tests per hour.

lol, that'll be a funny picture to see once it's moderated. I guess it proves definitively that it's not CityFibre etc. I had to use 4G just to get this forum to load 😂 Internet is totally goosed tonight.

I'll start my cancellation adventure, this will be excellent evidence to add to the pack.
