Broadband cut steam download

Hi Team,

I got Vodafone FTTH 500 via Fibre City infrastructure. Since I moved to Vodafone the Steam download is not stable. Please have a look at the graph below.

It will download the game in the end as such cuts are no problem for Steam. It`s just annoying that it`s not constant transfer, I don`t even expect full speed. At a previous provider named V… I didn`t have those problems the transfer was constant and stable.

The workstation this graph has been made on is connected to broadband via gigabit ethernet cat 6. So it`s not the network on my end.
The average ping to 8.8.8.8 during the download is 6-8ms

I had some Steam interruptions yesterday, but I'm not now on VF. It may not be all VF's problem.

You said that you measured your ping against Goole (8.8.8.8) but have you changed the router to use Google for DNS? Either way it may be a idea to try Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) as they provide edge servers thus caching popular destinations. This may smooth out the irregular speeds when downloading.
