Why is my internet Broadband dead slow over the last few days?
I enjoy to game in my spare time and it simply isn't possible with forever dropping internet speeds..
I've tried to speak to an advisor but i sit 'Number 1 in queue' for hours and no advisor turns up.. Joke really, beginning to question what service I am paying for.

i've tried live chat, i just sit 'Number 1 in queue' for ages and nothing happens.
I've done from 4.5/5mp/s download to 120kb/s in a matter of days reset the router multiple times to no help

Even 5Mbs is not very good, are you a long way from the cabinet?

What does Openreach think your line capable of?

BT Broadband (btwholesale.com)

Downstream 70.5 Mbps so around 7.4 MB/s
Upstream 16Mbps so around 2MB/s

Thats what it should be..

 

I'm quite close to the box, probably a 3 minute walk, and that is if I stroll to it.

 

Currently i'm getting 
Down- 0.86 so not even 0,1MB/s

up- 9.3 so about 1MB/s

Well there is definitely something very wrong. Have you tried in the test socket? (to prove the problem isn't at your end)

I've not had problems with live chat, they are usually quite responsive,

If you still can't contact them, (I think they finish at 20:00) try calling 08080 034 515. Although they are always slow and probably finish at the same time. Don't know if they work on Sunday.

Been on hold with 191 for the past 45 minutes, what a joke.. No advisors available on Tobi bot either..
