Slow upload speed on FTTP 900

Hello everyone, I have recently joined Vodafone broadband, but the speeds dont seem right to me - is anyone able to help me, out especially as the 2nd line team phone calls never come through as the line is so bad, and then they want to close the case just like that.

I believe I am having slow throughput. First image is speed test via Wifi, and the second is via Ethernet, both showing a slow Upload speed.

@Manufan Looking at the Vodafone page https://www.vodafone.co.uk/broadband/full-fibre scroll down to "Compare our broadband plans" where it shows the plan details. In the left column it says up-to 910 down and 105 up.

Do you have anything that says otherwise in your contract agreement?

Thank you for your reply. I attach a copy from my contract, where I understand it to be both Upload and Download to be minimum guaranteed 455. The main issue is with the slow upload speeds.

@Manufan We have to wait for the image to be approved. You did remember to hide any personal details?

Yep, all personal details have been hidden. There is nothing can identify me, my address, or contract number in it

@Manufan

Now you image has been moderated, you are obviously on CityFibre, and there the upload and download are the same.

Just what device(s) are you testing the speeds with? Is there any difference if you use Vodafone's version of Ookla.

Internet speed test | Vodafone UK

All my speed tests thus far have been conducted on my laptop - Thinkpad P16 Gen 2.

Here are the speeds from Vodafone's version of Ookla, with it being Wired first, then wifi.

It could well be that it is an old contract, although they are no longer officially offered, they still exist.
In the past such speeds were quite common (in germany), but of course they have fallen out of time by today's standards even in germany

If your landlord has signed the contract with Vodafone, then you have probably no choice but to ask your landlord to adjust/switch the contract accordingly or you can switch to other options, which will probably then run via the mobile network, but which could of course become a not inconsiderable additional cost factor

It is a new contract in the UK, it qaa signed on the 11/03/2025 by myself and activation occurred on the 26/3/2025. So I am still within the 14 days cooling off period to cancel.

So i am a little confused by your message.
