Hey, I have opted for the 80/20 service (superfast2) but am not recieveing anything close to it, I have heard that the SNR can effect the speed and the valued seem pretty high. Would there be anything for me to do to decrease this. I am ongoing a complaint case and Jackie from the Directors Office is dealing with it, but wondering what I can do within the meantime. I suggested to her about installing a new copper line free of charge, but have not had a response yet.

On top of that here are the results from BT Wholesale:

I had some issues with copy and pasting ("Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied.")

Please can someone explain to me what all of this information means and how it effects my internet speed / what the optimum values should be (I would like to understand what is going on) and sorry for the inconvenience in advance.

.@Jayach Probably makes sense. Some addresses have 2 lines and they don't know which one you are interested in. Also it saves BT some programming to hold an accurate database of address and telephone number (satire here).

The engineer came, did some tests on the line and found no issues (apparently) and then did some work at the cabinet at the top of the street (he says it is 630m away). And said that the throughput speed is a lot faster (60mbps) to the one at the end,

The one what? What speed did he get at your property?

Cabinet: 60mbps

Property: 28.5mbps

Distance: 650m copper line / 3700m fibre.

It looks like your line has a problem, but Openreach doesn't like spending money on fixing copper lines, when all of them will become redundant in a few years.
