upload speed seems wrong

Just had an upgrade from 200mb to 500mb and download is excellent as it was before but upload seems way too low, should be around 68Mb.. so why would the upload be so slow as the connection to my house is excellent

I Just had a chat that got me nowhere, they seemed unaware that you can access the router on the PC and insisted i must have the app on my phone, I have poor eyesight so prefer the PC and it's big keyboard.

They also could not grasp that my general account for phones/b/band etc is not the same as the hub log in and that you cannot access the hub direct from the general account (or can you?)

I have now got the Hub settings working on the PC. I also tried to do it on the ipad using the b/band app.  It ended up with asking if I was connected to the router and showed a picture of my previous router, no option to select a different one. It then said it can't find my router 😂 so I'm guessing my account still shows I'm using the THG3000 as the op who sent me a new one didn't alter my account. There is no request to return the old router either.

@capnbirdseye Isn't that just the iPad "remembering" the old router in the cache. I'm not an iPad owner, but I am assuming that there's a mechanism to flush the old router out of it.

Cynic,   I've not used the ipad for this before so it won't be in the cache, now i have access back on the PC all is well for b/band except for our landline no longer having our phone number since having the new router. Maybe I should make a new thread regarding that

@capnbirdseye Did VF not transfer your existing land line over successfully? It's not the first time sadly. You need to call the helpdesk/chatbot/social media as there's a timeout after which the number goes back into the pool of unused ones. The BB team are on 0333 304 0191.

There are quite a number of threads with the same "lost" number issue, so I don't really know if making a new thread is strictly necessary.
