Can anyone help with some more information about this?
I noticed on the My Vodafone app that I had an additional charge of 40p which would appear on my next bill. This came from a call to a Mobile number from my Vodafone landline which was just over an hour long.
I started an online chat session with an advisor which was unfortunately cut off but they were saying that there is a limit of 60 minutes for any inclusive calls and that after this charges would apply.
I am surprised at this as I wasn't aware that Vodafone had this policy of charging for calls beyond 60 minutes. Do people know if this applies to mobile calls as well? Also is this just the amount of the call beyond 60 minutes charged rather than the whole call?
I knew that this rule applied to calls with my previous provider Talk Talk but this is the first time after being a customer of Vodafone for many years that this issue has cropped up for me with Vodafone.
I had a similar charge last year for a long call made on my landline but a chat advisor on that occasion just removed the charge and confirmed that there were no time limits on any of my calls.
Is this a recent policy change from Vodafone?
Thanks for any help people can give here?

As far as I know the charged over 60 minutes has always been there.
Check this price list dated from April 2019. it says:
"Inclusive calls are subject to a 60 minute maximum duration per call. Standard call charges apply if you exceed the 60 minute maximum duration. To continue making inclusive calls simply hang up and redail before the 60 minutes.
Call connection fees do not apply. "

It doesn't apply to mobile calls, but I believe they are terminated at 2 hours. (but I've never spoke that long on a phone, so can't confirm it)

That means calls made from a mobile not to.
I really miss being able to edit posts.

Thanks for your response to this. I have now had the chat transcript from my support chat which was cut off yesterday and Vodafone provided a link to the latest charging information dated from May 2021 and the relevant parts concerning calls over 60 minutes are on page 15 . This seems similar or identical to the wording from April 2019.
I do think Vodafone should inform people more about these charges as they could catch some people out. When I was with Talk Talk they were very open about these sorts of extra charges.
