Hey @elposty1 I hope you're well. It's disappointing to hear that you are experiencing issues with your landline service. As we have no account access on the Community, and therefore are unable to do any line testing, please drop a message to our Social Media team here with your account details so they can look into this for you.

Having also spent over 2 hours on your live chat but its always busy, its just not good enough. I have as you requested messaged on Twitter.

Are you on FTTP or FTTC?

FTTC

In that case Vodafone should be able to sort it, or pass the call to Openreach if necessary.

Have you called them on 08080 034 515?

If you are getting nowhere, try raising a complaint. Complaints Code of Practice | Vodafone UK

Thanks for your help, after doing my own investigation work there is an outage in my area. Vodafone are laughable still waiting for a response on twitter and spent ages on live chat last night and they seem none the wiser, its not rocket science Vodafone you need to do better.

You wont find many on here who will disagree with you. Social media as a support channel is laughable.

It will be a fault on one of the two wires from the copper PCP cabinet to your house.

The broadband signal only requires one wire, when the pair are connected you will get a dialtone and be able to make voicecalls again, it's a simple fault for Openreach to sort.

Hello,

My landline is also not working for the last 3 to 4 days and I have facing huge problems with my projects. Don't know how to cope with this????
