Hi ,
I just switched from TalkTalk to Vodafone, involving a cityfibre line install. I was under the impression that the One Touch Switch service should have handled the cancellation, even between different networks.
Vodafone have activated my new line on 03/02/25, but my TalkTalk service has not ended.
TalkTalk confirmed they were informed about the switch but without a specified date. Vodafone told me the switch wasn't processed, yet TalkTalk received the switch notification, indicating I input the details correctly. The lack of an activation date from Vodafone has now resulted in me paying an extra £70 for two months of overlapping services.
Any help with resolving this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Yes, that's the way it should work, but it seems to be having problems.

Sue OfCon / OTSCO for fale/missleading publication on the service :-} Not a typo OfCcon, as they're more of a 'con' than they are on Communication of totally hones publication, e.g. the spin on OTS.
But sock horror they aren't actually accountable for any consumer delivery failures, of what they're (supposed ) to 'regulate', of little actual use to consumers.
