Landline phone with own router on FTTP

Just got FTTP and everything is working fine off the VF router. Phone lines are plugged into the VF router, VF router's WiFi is switched off. 3rd party Mesh has been switched to Bridge mode and plugged into the VF's ethernet port.

However I am shocked at how feature poor the VF router is. e.g. There are no Parental controls at all. I know I can get rid of the VF router and plug my own Mesh router into the Openreach ONT, but what about the Landline.

Are there any 3rd party routers in the market that have a telephone socket at the back to allow the home phone to be plugged in?

Latest update.

Grandstream VOIP devices confirmed to be working with Vodafone's Digital Voice service.

GXP1620 - Wired Phone (Tested by g7omn)
GXP1625 - Wired Phone (Tested by mdbloomfield)
HT801 - ATA (Tested by many)
HT802 - ATA (Tested by many)
HT812 - ATA (Tested by many)
WP810 - WiFi Phone (Tested by cf996 & myself)
WP822 - WiFi Phone (Tested by myself)

In future I'll only post the updated list when a new device is added, or if someone asks.

I have a Grandstream GXP2000 do you think either of the setups you have for the GXP1620/GXP1625 would work on this, and if so could you share the setup you have

Thanks

Y'know, even with all the hassle in getting user IDs and passwords, this is still a better outcome than I now have available on BT!

Did you get the included digital phone, either with or without Alexa?

I actually went for broadband-only as it's either use their router or nothing when it comes to phone calls.  As I've not had a landline phone plugged in for most of the last 5 years it's no big loss.  The BT system is less flexible, but I guess it's more secure.

@Splodgeink
I can see two settings which are different to what worked for me (on BT Openreach):
Enable SIP Options/notify keep alive: Options
Use P-Access-Network-Info Header: Yes (this was a default setting)
In your configuration they are both set to NO.
This post has links to the original advice from those who first cracked this as well as the settings that worked for me and why https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Landline/Landline-phone-with-own-router-on-FTTP/m-p/2723154/highligh...
I would suggest going back to basics and check all of your set up carefully (including on your router).

We're on Vodafone.

P-Access-Network-Info Header should all be disabled. The only thing thing in the header should be the user_agent which is set elsewhere.

Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once (more). This isn't BT. It never has been BT and it probably never shall be.

@Ripshod I think you are talking to me.

1) BT Openreach provides the infrastructure. Vodafone use both BT Openreach and Citylink. The two require slightly different configurations. I am on BT Openreach hence my settings will not work for someone on CityLink.
Obviously we use vodafone as a service provider, or we would not be on a vodafone user forum!
2) P-Access-Network-Info Header is set to yes by default and it works perfectly with it enable.

I hope this clarifies both issues for you.

I'm not going to drag this out in another thread, just to say that Openreach ain't BT. They were at one point, and may well be under the same parent company, but it's openreach that provide the connection to Vodafone's own equipment. BT just provide connected services on their servers, which are nothing to do with vodafone

I hope this clarifies it for you.

I never said BT Openreach was BT.
Now, please, do give it a rest, and work on your reading comprehension skills.
