Moving to VoIP on 3rd party router

Am currently changing my home landline service to Digital VoIP and use a Tp-Link Archer VR2100 router. Can you advise me if I can get a VoIP adapter and how to set it up, as I don't want to use the Vodafone Router.

It's a possibility I suppose, but would require some thinning as there's many repeated questions througout. I honestly don't have the time right now but maybe someone can put a tutorial up for the HT801(?).
