Currently have a MIFI device which was recommended to us by Vodafone to use in Spain. 

 

Currently in Spain although it says it is connected when going on to the internet it says its not connected to the server 

 

what are we doing wrong

Hey @Bea2310, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your MiFi device. Did you activate the SIM whilst in the UK? 

If you did, this could be because the Access Point Name (APN) settings on your device don’t match your SIM settings. APN settings control what your device is trying to connect to, while SIM settings control what your device and SIM are allowed to connect to.

Your APN settings will depend on whether you’re a Pay monthly or Pay as you go customer:

Pay monthly

  • APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
  • Username and password: wap

Pay as you go

  • APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
  • Username and password: wap
