Guys i am using vodafone sice 16 years Recently i got iPhone 16 pro Since my simcard is old, i was told to update my kyc and use a new simcard since old one is not compatible.

I am a prepaid customer from 16 years, they are asking me to switch to postpaid do all this process.

Is it justified?

Hi @garry414! You don't need to move from pre-paid (Pay As You Go) to post-paid (Pay Monthly) to replace your SIM card. You're able to do this with your current Pay As You Go account if you don't want to move over to Pay Monthly. If your current account is unregistered, the team might ask you to register your details (which you can do here) so we're able to complete the SIM swap for you, but you aren't required to move over to Pay Monthly just to replace your SIM card. I hope this helps 🙂
