How to get a mobile mast in my area?

Hi,
I live in the PH2 area (Scotland) and live on a rural housing estate where mobile signal is non-existent. Is there a way to encourage Vodafone or other network providers to install one on land near us?

@mnorthover - thanks for posting Matt. I understand how important it is to have a working mobile at all times. Please enter your postcode onto our Network Status Checker - It will show what coverage to expect where you are. 

If it's showing a better expected signal than what you're getting, then please complete this template from step 6 and we'll then take a closer look. 

If the issues you're facing are down to the general coverage in your area, then please keep a look out via the Network Status Checker for any planned updates. You can see this on the bottom right of the page, by selecting 'Planned (3 months).

Hi Gemma,
Thanks for coming back to me. My postcode (PH2 9QE) has bad coverage and looking at your network checker there's a larger area around me that sees the same problem.
How can we apply for a mobile mast added to our area to improve this?
