Pixel 7 will not make calls

My pixel 7 has started not connecting calls I try to make unless it is turned off and back on first .  Anyone else had this issue and got a solution?

This may be network related @trainmonday , follow the advise in this thread Network Issues 

There is nothing stopping you from getting a replacement SIM but trying your SIM in an alternative phone would eliminate a SIM error.  Vodafone would also recommend updating the SIM on the network by competing a manual roam by follow this information Manual Roam 

As an alternative to rebooting the phone try putting in airplane mode and back onto the network.  With your 4G connection, you should also be able to make VoLTE 4G calls and have WiFi calling at your home location.

As a last resort back up and factory reset.
