Hi. I have recently moved from o2 to Vodafone but there seems to have been an issue porting over my old number and now only those who are with Vodafone can call or text me. If someone calls from any other network they get a 'this number is not recognised' message ! Vodafone have said they have raised it with o2 but it could take up to 72 hours to be resolved. I work from my phone so this has been really challenging ! I have had the phone for 5 days and haven't been able to use it properly. It also means I cannot get into any of my apps because when they send a verification code via text I cannot receive it. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, was it resolved ?

A split port can take a minimum of 72 hours to resolve because it requires the losing network (O2 in your case) to resend over any missing porting files. Communication between the losing network and gaining network isn't done in real time. You will just have to be patient.
