Solution

Unable to port forward on THG3000

As it says in the title, I am unable to successfully open any ports. I have ruled out any local issues (OS firewall etc) as other local devices can access the service without issue.

This is happening on router THG3000, firmware is the latest version

19.4.0551-3261103

The firmware update checker throws back an error; a factory reset of the router via the web terminal has not resolved the issue.

Turns out it was the local firewall, some unexpected holes had been plugged after the switch to the new router (OS thought it was on a new network)
