Morning All,
I don't know about any of you, but I'm starting to get really excited for the new F1 season which is just around the corner!
Forums I've used in the past have always had an F1 thread the members can use to talk about any news, upcoming races and so on, so now we have this off topic section, I thought I'd create one here too!
So, who do you follow and what are your hopes for the coming season?
I'm a die-hard McLaren fan, so am eagerly awaiting the new car launch on 4th February. From what the team were saying when I visited the MTC back in November, this should be a competitive year, so I'm hoping for Lewis to win his second championship.

Oops!
I meant Tesco MObile but aparently even that is no longer just in the UK!
That would make for some interesting Stats!
Not sure where one would find such info.

For me, I do get the idea of saving the money and offering better deals, but I guess its all about global brand, whilst to all us it seems like crazy money, I doubt that many of these companies throw out the money without expecting it will grow or protect the brand.
Tesco and Asda done something similar in the fuel market 15 years ago, they opened up a few petrol stations. They bought on the "spot" market, basically just bought it as and when, sold it out and grew. They were able to grow because it wasn't there prmiary business and reduced the margins down to levels not heard of previously.
Now we all know they have a substantial share of the market for fuel, and thats fine with me, I am all for competition, the issues however I think can be a little similar. The danger in my opinion with Tesco / Asda etc is that they did not put the infrastructure in that created the networks, and in letting them share it, they build a great customer base & quite a lot of people are liking their deals. But what happens in the future ?
Who knows !

Yep I agree, things much closer than the speculation 3 or 4 weeks ago. I saw in the last Grand Prix, that Red Bull did not use their Kers system even although the weight of the system was on their car, and if my memory serves me right 2 or 3 years ago, McLaren had Kers working reasonablly well.
Its going to be close, would love to see a little bit of them in the mix to see how they all react, Vettel is amazingly quick right now, but often he seems to have little pressure.
What does everyone think of these moveable rear spoilers (their name escapes me), is it a step too far or not ?
