Hi all,
In the past 2 weeks I’ve not been able to get internet despite my signal and 4G showing as seemingly okay. No email or apps work just says connecting.
It only happens around 6PM returning from work. The AM seems fine.
I’ve tried various things like turn off/on / Airplane mode / Reset network settings
I’ve told support but they just say everything looks good in the area and don’t seem bothered.
What on earth could it be?
There is heavy development in the area. Does this seem like a Vodafone problem? Anything I can try? Thinking about changing provider if nothing changes.
My phone is absolutely fine everywhere else apart from the Station and about a mile radius.

I have been having the same issue for the past two weeks. As soon as I get close to the station I lose data despite showing 4G.
this happens in the morning on the way to work and 5/6PM on the way back home.
it’s terrible. I have to download my videos on YouTube in advance before I get close to the station.

What time in the morning? It works for me in the AM around 8:15 but does not work in PM around 6.
So annoying and you know it’s a Vodafone issue but trying to get anything done is impossible.
Effie I took your advice and haven’t heard a thing from anyone.

Just an update here - yesterday was the first time I’ve been able to use internet… I noticed I had 2 bars as opposed to full bars but it worked… if it works today I’d be confident enough to say perhaps the issue is resolved

Hello all,
I might add that poor Vodafone service is not just limited to the central Lewisham area, but all along the Pool river valley from between New Beckenham and Lower Sydenham, along the railway all they way to St John's. There is absolutely no service from Ladywell through to Lewisham. Even with my device switching to E, no bars are showing.
This is not something recent, but has been like this for a while. Is there a capacity issue due to all the recent developments at Lower Sydenham, Catford and Lewisham?

Hi @travis1983 and @M4x1s - I've take a look at the local serving site to SE13 7RY (85670) and it's still showing as performing as expected without any known faults or downtime. Having said this, it is showing some work is due to take place from 8am tomorrow and it's due to be completed around 8pm on 24 September. You can monitor this, by entering the postcode and the selecting the alert, on our Network Status Checker. If after this time you're still facing issues in this location or any other area, then we'll please need you to message us again on Social Media. We can then go through some details and what we'll need to send to our Network Engineers to investigate.
Please be aware when travelling, we can't guarantee a stable connection due to the materials around a train line and also switching between masts,

They should consider adding WiFi Calling to their services for improved connectivity in areas with WiFi availability

This post can be considered closed. I ended up changing provider and I now have connectivity in the area.
