An account that I phoned up to close in 2018 is still showing as open on my credit report. It shows a balance of £8 but it is unclear if this is owed to me or I owe. I contacted customer services and they told me I need to pay the outstanding £8, but couldn’t provide me with the account details of why because they sent it to the email address associated with my old account which no longer exists and I no longer have access to.
I paid the £8, but it is still showing on my credit report after customer services said it would be removed. How do I get this removed? I have spoken over live chat and phone and am getting no where.
