I’ve recently upgraded my router from RT-AC86U never had a problem with these, now ASUS Zenwifi pro XT12..

I’m using exactly same setup as before but I’m getting continuous disconnects on wan reloading with the Zens..

im on fttp 500 if that helps..

I’ve also tried the iptv setting 911 this disconnects totally and I’ve used several different cat7 cables..

If it worked fine with the previous ASUS router, could the new one be faulty?

Presumably you are on Openreach, which is why VLAN 119 911 didn't work, that is for Cityfibre.

Edit: Oops, my dyslexia kicked in there. 🤣

Yes on Openreach

I put Merlin on and seemed to be running ok..

Then starting to get this

BB201C0C-6343-4FFC-A1F7-C45756B79308.png

 tried port forwarding no difference.

aimesh keeps losing connection as well on wired backhaul.

There going back

You should probably have PPP authentication on "Auto" rather than "CHAP".

I assume you have removed the Vodafone router and are connecting the XT12 to ONT.

Do you have the single XT12 or the twin pack?

What exactly are you port forwarding?

Which version of Merlin are you now running - if it's the beta, it'll deliberately post more info in the system logs!

So looking at the screenshot now it's moderated, the first thing I do is probably try a different ethernet cable in whatever sockets have ethernet sockets in them.  If this doesn't work then it's possible that there is a problem with the internal switch (a wifi radio commonly sits on port 5) and you may need to be contacting Asus for a replacement!

Yeah I’ve tried different cables, still no joy so I’ve reverted back to ac86u and returned the xt12 looks like there faulty..

thanks for feedback
