Booster Connection to main Router

Hi,

I have an issue at the moment where one of my 3 boosters will randomly flash white and red. It works fine for an hour or so after resetting it with the reset button at the back and connecting it back through the app.

I’ve noticed when it connects and works fine the network is setup with all boosters connecting to the main router. When the problem booster starts flashing white and red and drops connection it is piggy-backing off another booster in the house, that is further away than the router.

is there any way to manually set the booster to connect only to the main router and stop connecting to other boosters?

TIA, Mason.

Hi @MasonJY 👋 Sorry that you're facing a few issues keeping your boosters connected. I have popped a link here which runs through setup, you will also see a chat now button which will route you through to our Wi-Fi Xperts if you need further help.

Unless you have a faulty device then normally there's a reason that WiFi extenders/mesh units will do this.  It's usually down to something forming a shield between the two devices, or interference of some kind or another (neighbouring WiFi maybe).

Also 3 boosters is a lot!  Because of house design that number of boosters would suggest a property in excess of 2500 sq ft!  If it's less than that, then unless you have granite walls, you've probably got too much WiFi!
