Broadband customer service very stressful

I ordered home broadband last week and after two days had to cancel the order as my current provider offered better deal. But I called to cancel it , a lovely man ( a very flirty man)was very obliged and said is cancelled (didn’t know that Vodafone crusty service involves flirting with client….) bust is now a week in and still receiving messages and calls from God knows who about my home broadband….. what is this ???? What system are you working on ????? Only just today called Vodafone back and someone checked my account said all is fine .. but still 30 min after I received another call from India saying I have problems with broadband???  What world are people living on??? 
so not recommend this provider for anyone as is too stressful .. a simple  cancellation job became such a headache …
