CUPID Code Request

Wardy555

Similar to many others that have posted regarding this, such as within this thread I'm attempting to obtain the CUPID code associated with my landline held with Vodafone.

I need to port this number, due to a house move out of area, so I'm trying to get it ported to a VOIP provider, Sipgate. No team or individual I've spoken to seems able to assist, nor knows what a CUPID code is. Despite me pointing them to OFCOM's information regarding them.

I've tried to contact an apparent 'GNP' team who should be able to assist, but they won't reply to emails and are only available via this method - not by phone or web chat. Is there anyone via forum methods that can look up the required information for me???

I've also posted in that thread regarding my issue. However, I'm not aware of an actual 'solution' in that thread?

So aside from just picking Vodafone-related CUPID codes at random, as long as Vodafone pickup the failed port charges for each one I'll do it that way!

If OFCOM say they should provide it and they wont, then raise a complaint.

How to complain | Vodafone

I would raise this as a complaint .its the only way forward

Complaint has already been raised and I'm awaiting an initial response to that.

But in the meantime I still need this resolved.

You could try live chat. Just tell Tobi to "go away" and he should put you through to an agent.

https://www.vodafone.co.uk/contact-us-b2/index.htm

But I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

Thanks but I've spent countless hours on live chat and telephone with this request, to no avail.

No moderators able to step in here and advise or progress - nothing at all?

I can see there's clearly been other members in the same boat, so surely a simple three-digit CUPID code can be found for my number? Not too much to ask, surely....
