Similar to many others that have posted regarding this, such as within this thread I'm attempting to obtain the CUPID code associated with my landline held with Vodafone.
I need to port this number, due to a house move out of area, so I'm trying to get it ported to a VOIP provider, Sipgate. No team or individual I've spoken to seems able to assist, nor knows what a CUPID code is. Despite me pointing them to OFCOM's information regarding them.
I've tried to contact an apparent 'GNP' team who should be able to assist, but they won't reply to emails and are only available via this method - not by phone or web chat. Is there anyone via forum methods that can look up the required information for me???

Thanks for the reply Mark, although this sounds suspiciously like I'll be going round the houses again.
As using your 'social channels' for this sort of request will be akin to starting this all over again via Live Chat, as I've already done countless times already.

Off to a great start already!
Q: Which of these automated replies are applicable?
A: None of them!

As I advised in my earlier message @Wardy555, to speak to one of our agents, please select 'Get started' from the initial options, followed by 'asked to DM'. These options will direct you to a member of our social team and we'll be happy to help.

Oh I understand the issue about discussion of such information via a forum. This is more about having the correct technical response from Vodafone, and be able to talk or communicate with the right people and/or departments
So I'm loathed to start from scratch again via Live chat/social channels. Especially given all my other approaches have resulted in either a brick wall or incorrect information. But what's another bit of wasted time, when I've already spent so much on what should be a 'simple' request?

You can download
Communications Provider Identity ("CUPID") codes
Download CUPID in MS Excel format
I found the above download link on the Ofcom website.
Might not be what you are looking for though.
Vodafone have multiple listings on that excel document.

Yes, I know what the available codes are. All I need is for Vodafone to tell me which one is applicable to my number!
Alternatively, if Vodafone agree to pick up any failed porting charges, I'll simply ask the new provider to try all of them?

If they won't even give you the code, good luck with that.

It was said in jest, but being serious for one moment - what other option do I have exactly??
It's not even a case of Vodafone refusing to provide it, it's getting any Vodafone employee to understand what a CUPID code is, why it's required and that they do exist.

This question has been asked on here many times over the years, and most of the threads have at least one Mod saying "If you pop us a private message via one of our social channels, one of our dedicated team will pick this up for you". You would think they would make a note that 'if this question is asked the answer is ..........'.
Have you got anywhere via your complaint?

This post seemed possibly helpful.

But then I read this Sipgate page, that says basically they can't port from Vodafone.
