Discovered today that if using Google for DNS I can’t view Garmin websites and can’t send email using iCloud but can use gmail and nhsmail. 
using Vodafone’s DNS and everything works. Wonder if it’s a Securenet thing

@DJM1971 Try an alternative DNS service such as Cloudflare on 1.0.0.1 as first choice and leave Google 8.8.4.4 as second. 

Did you try "nslookup" and "tracert" (both from the CMD window) just to see if these sites which you can't reach are actually being resolved? If you're on iOS I think the command window is either term or xterm and the two commands would be "nslookup" and "traceroute" (PS. I'm doing the iOS bit from memory).

Good luck with NHSMail, I was a "victim" of that pile of an email service. Perhaps it's got better since my time.
