Disgusting, poor customer service with advisors who lie

Honestly, I have never experienced such disgusting treatment by customer services.

3 hours of my time wasted trying to cancel my broadband. Lied to by your advisors who were pretending to be processing my cancellation.

lied to by a manager who was pretending to be raising my complaint

in both cases they strung me along and eventually said ‘the offices that deal with it are closed, you’ll have to call tomorrow’

Disgusting treatment. Absolutely appalling. I will NEVER use this company again and will warn anyone I know to never use you. Disgraceful

When did you try to cancel your BB? For some reason the teams are generally only open during office hours (ish, I think the bb team is something like 8am - 8pm) other than for network issues - I can see you posted this just after midnight

My point is being strung along.

when I first started the cancellation it was before 8pm. Then the advisors strung me along as much as possible to then tell me they couldn’t deal with it.

even this morning I have been lied to by the telephone advisors, who say they can process a cancellation, then suddenly say they need to pass me to the cancellations team (which the call subsequently dropped).

the customer service team is abysmal. You couldn’t pay me to use vodafone in the future. It’s service is awful.

as I write this in 45minutes into another call trying to cancel.

And it is finally cancelled.

But only after over 4 hours hours of combined torture by the customer advisors who refuse to answer your questions directly, lie about what they can and can't do. Lie about putting through a cancellation. Lie about putting in a complaint. Ignore multiple request for copies of chats. Ignore multiple requests to a proper complaints procedure. String you along for hours upon end in the hope that you just give in and carry on with this awful company. It really is awful. How on earth Vodafone thinks running a customer advisor service as poor as this is good for business is beyond me. It is by far and away the worst company I have EVER dealt with.

However, credit where credit is due. When the advisor finally did what I requested (after hours of struggle. No exaggeration) and put me through to cancellations, the lady who dealt with me, Sarah (northern-sounding woman) was 10/10 in dealing with my request. She understood that my trust in Vodafone had evaporated by that point. Employ more people like Sarah, and perform better with your general customer advisors and you might have a chance at retaining customers.

I for one, will never return to Vodafone, and I will be advising friends and family to steer well clear too. This was truly awful service.
