Hello,
Openreach notified me in December that I can now get FTTP at my premises. Originally only a couple of specialist ISPs would provide FTTP internet services to my address but now that has changed.
I've checked with a number of ISPs now including BT, EE and Sky who now will provide FTTP services to my property.
Anytime I use the GigaFast availability checker on the Vodafone website it redirects me to the superfast availability page instead and says I can only get 73.6mbps down and 18mbps up.
How long does is normally take for Vodafone to update the availability checker? I want to take advantage of the current 500mbps for the price of 200mbps sale that is due to expire in January.

Our availability checker is regularly updated @vodafoneuserFF If this continues to show these speeds are unavailable to you, give our broadband team a call on 08080 034 515, or reach out to our Chat team and we'll be happy to take a closer look at the availability in your area.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the response. I did go on soon after OpenReach notified me of the network upgrade. They gave me the number to the dedicated Gigafast team who promptly passed me onto the another department. The person at that department said that they've had a number of similar calls and provided me a small discount on my monthly broadband cost. They could not give me an explanation as to the disparity between Vodafone availability and OpenReach. I was just told to keep using the availability checker and wait for it to update with the correct availability.
Since that call other ISP's have updated the availability to show gigabit available at my address. Aside from TalkTalk, Vodafone are the only ISP that has not updated.
I wanted to know how long it normally takes or if there is something that I need to do to get it updated.

Hey mate any news on this? Openreach fitted ours in December. I’m still waiting and very tempted to move to BT and pay the extra £20 for the 150 package. I wanted the 500mb offer but when I kept calling in I was told to ring back I’m a week when the systems have updated....

Hi @Sm4sh! We don't have a time frame for this, but all updates will be on the Gigafast availability checker 🙂

Shame. It seems you will lose customers from this. Open reach are promoting you guys as a supplier

So 11 months on and there is no change. This evening I checked with the following ISPs and they all offer FTTP to my premises. All I assume are using OpenReach:
BT
EE
TalkTalk
Sky
Cuckoo Broadband
Giganet
Vodafone availability checker is still only showing FTTC packages to my property. Spoke to 2 advisors and they've got no idea why it's not showing.
This is really frustrating. Especially with the currently 1gb for £30 per month sale that is on.
Any ideas from the Vodafone team?

I'm sorry there's still no update on this service being available in your area @vodafoneuserFF, if you pop us a private message via Facebook at Vodafone UK, or on Twitter using the handle @VodafoneUK, we'll take a look into this and if the service is available to us, get the availability checker updated.

Good luck, I've been down that route recently and there is no answer, the system shows only FTTC and no reason as to why FTTP is not possible
If you get anything please report here

Hi Mark,
I went on to Twitter as per your suggestion. They stated that it wasn't the right platform for my question(!) and was redirected back to the broadband chat on the Vodafone website.
I went on to the chat and the person simply stated that Vodafone do not provide FTTP packages via OpenReach. Only CityFibre. This is contrary to all the media that's been pushed out to say that Vodafone DOES provide FTTP packages in those areas with OpenReach FTTP capabilities.
Looks like I'm just being given the ring around again.
Have to say I am very disappointed with this experience.
