Hello,
I am new to Vodafone broadband and today was the activation day of my broadband, just saw the bill. The real monthly charges according to contract is 19GBP, but it is showing 3.86GBP extra ( out of plan charges ) i.e., total 22.68GBP. I have attached the screenshot as well.
Please someone can explain what's that 3.68GBP for when I never used Vodadone broadband before?
Kind regards

Pro rata is a Latin term used to describe a proportionate allocation. It essentially translates to "in proportion."
Basically, it's saying your broadband started slightly before the billing period, so you are being charged for the early start. (As I understand it)

These are estimated unbilled charges, your bill won't be generated until the 27th September. Vodafone charge line rental in advance, the first bill will be billed pro rata and you will be billed one full month in advance plus part of a month to bring you in line with your billing date.
You need to wait until you have received the bill you will then be able to see the extra days billing.

So what are those 3.68 for then? If I see the details, it shows pro rata charge of 3.68 and what is that pro rata thing?
Can Someone kindly explain in simple words if possible?
