There's a member here called Ripshod gave me some pointers in setting up a Grandstream but have run into a problem. When dialling out an automated voice says 'This device is not registered'.. I'll try upload some pics of settings , if someone here can check the settings are correct that be great.

For some reason the pictures have not loaded in order. But they are numbered correctly.

Quick Note: SLIC Setting/Call ID Scheme had already been changed to UK - BT , prior to this posting.

One thing that stands out straight away is:

SIP REGISTER Contact Header Uses: you have set for LAN address, should be WAN.

The menu is laid out differently to the HT802 I had so it'll take me some time to go through the rest.

Hi Ripshod. I did the setup over LAN from Grandstream to Laptop. Should i be connected to the net ?

Yes, directly to the router with that wan setting may get you somewhere. It'll get an IP from the router that you can use to access the gui.

ok so i'm now connected directly fto the GUI over the WAN interface.

Still no luck - same automated voice recording  'device not registered'

Just to check , where it says  'Use NAT IP' :  HERE I'VE TYPED THE STATIC IP OF ROUTER GIVEN BY VODAFONE.

Screenshot of the menu.

Page 1 of 8: Register Expiration should be 1 minute

Reregister Before Expiration should be 0

Page 2 of 8: Use P-Emergency-Info Header should be No

I can't see anything else in your settings that could affect registration. May be worth checking your port forwarding on the router, failing that you may need to check your sip settings with vodafone.

Page 3 of 8: SIP User-Agent should be 'Vox 3.0' (without the inverted commas), but that won't directly affect the registration.
