Vodafone network will not appear on my TV, tried everything possible. Reset router, reset tv. Spoken to Vodafone several times and they cannot find anything wrong with signal or router. Unable to solve the problem. Other devices have connected just the tv. Every network in the area appears on my TV except the one I need from Vodafone which is nearest the tv. So very frustrating and after a week of trying at my wits end. Any help much appreciated??

Which make and model of TV are you using?
Are you connecting to the router by ethernet cable or WiFi?
Are you using the Vodafone router or a different one?

Hi its an hisense tv. I tried connecting with both wireless and ethernet cable and it's the Vodafone router.

If it's not working with an ethernet cable, it's very unlikely to be a problem with the router. Does another device work from the same ethernet connection?

Sorry my mistake it is working now with ethernet cable. Thanks.

When you say the TV doesn't see the Vodafone SSID, but does see others. is the TV 2.4Ghz only? Is it possible the router is using channel 12 or 13, and the TV can't "see" them?

I am having the exact same problem but using the ethernet cable is not practical. The TV does occasional 'see' the router but it's short term and doesn't give full functionality (can't access iPlayer etc). What could be the problem here?

Could be that the router is using a channel that your TV can't see, or simply that the signal strength at the TV is too low.
Is the TV 2.4Ghz only or can it use 5GHz?

How about trying powerline adapters?

I’ve used a booster and signal reception is good near the tv for all other devices. How do I check/change the channel detected?

You can't change/select the channel used, Vodafone have removed that option. Personally I think boosters are just "snake oil", they promise something they can never provide. (Cue all the people saying "they work for me")
You can check what channel the router is using in the router settings.
You can also use a Wi-Fi analyser app on a phone/tablet.
If it's 12 or 13, that will be the problem, (assuming the TV is 2.4GHz only)
If you must use Wi-Fi, get an access point, you can then control the channel used.
If your TV has an Ethernet connection, then powerline adapters will allow you to use that.
