This is a follow-up to my previous post regarding Vodafone moving my landline to a VOIP line without informing me.
I have tried setting up the Vodafone router, however, I am unable receive or make calls.
I connected the RJ11 to BT adapter from the green socket of the router to the phone socket. When I call the landline, the phone icon on the router blinks. However, none of the phones in the house ring. In addition, there is no dial tone and I can't make any outward calls. Support don't know what to do.

Some useful information here: The End of Analogue Phone Lines (Part 2) (draytek.co.uk)
But if you are not happy to carry out the modifications yourself, you may need to engage an electrician. (who is also good with phone wiring)
Vodafone do not (AFAIK) arrange any of this kind of work, as long as a phone works directly connected to the TEL socket(s) they will consider their job done.
I'm not on digital voice myself (yet) but I will just connect a DECT phone base to the router and have my extensions where I require them connected wirelessly (It's what I already do)

So basically I need to install a new faceplate to connect the router's VOIP function to the analogue phone socket?

Yes, but it may need a new master socket if you don't already have an NTE5c.
Is your master socket already pre-filtered or do you use a plug in filter?

Your picture hasn't been moderated yet, but there is some info here, including pictures of the face plates.
SOGEA VRI front plate to enable extensions - BT Community
Not really sure what the difference between the switched and non-switched version is.

It's a Master Socket 5C openreach MK4.

I have never actually used (or seen) the new VRI face plate, but it does sound like, if you can get one, just fitting it should enable easy re-injection.
I suspect, if you were on BT, they would probably have a service that would do the job for you (possibly for a price) but I don't know of anything similar on Vodafone. (just because I don't know of it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist)
Sorry I cant be more helpful, It's much easier when the VoIP change comes because of the change to FTTP, as the total copper service is redundant and there is no problem of upsetting the broadband.
Edit: your picture has now been moderated, so yes, I think the VRI faceplate would do the job.

So you're saying the problem is that technically my phone line is still connected to the cabinet which is why the VOIP function isn't working through the extension socket?

Basically yes, but I would sat it is the voice re-injection that isn't working. the VoIP is working fine.
If you could uncouple the extensions from the master socket, you could then use them for the re-injection. (that's basically, as I understand it, what the VRI faceplate does for you.)

Out of my ignorance, as much as anything else, could a DECT base station be plugged into the first phone socket and the wireless handsets could be used?
