Power hub DSL utterly useless

Does anyone else find the power hub DSL with WiFi 6 to be the worst piece of networking kit they've ever used?

Constant dropping of WiFi connection to every device in house simultaneously (wired still works so not an issue with FTP). Authentication failures requiring a restart. Non-functional WPS and WiFi buttons. Takes an absolute age to restart.

How do I get Vodafone to give me functioning kit? Can only drop so many work calls before my colleagues start to assume it's a "me" issue.

Just a thought, do you have compatibility mode set? Perhaps the printer is seeing the two SSID's as separate devices.

Yes it is set OK

I have tried every avenue, when I have some time I will return to the super hub thanks

I was suggesting you try WPS with compatibility mode off.

I have other kit connected which will only connect to comp mode so it needs to be on ie security cameras

Fair enough, I was suggesting it might be that causing the WPS confusion. If you try turning it off temporarily and the printer connects using WPS, you can switch it back on after. However in your situation going back to the THG3000 may be the best solution.

When I have time to re start everything I will try as you say, thank you, I can't mess about with family in house these next few days

Shouldn't be any need to reset everything, but probably best to get Christmas out of the way first.

Have a good one.🎄

i made an account just to say this

yes, it is terrible how low my speeds can get and vodafone basically just fob you off and gaslight you, saying theres no issues on their end. The help chat is such a waste of time, they make you repeat all the steps you've just done.

another huge issue i have with the hub is SMART DEVICES WONT CONNECT, i have to use my wifi extender to register smart devices and its further away so might have connection issues at some point. how they made such a useless device is baffling but its vodafone so probably the cheapest of the cheap.

i have 2 weeks left on my complaint, if my wifi speeds are still slow i can end the contract, i will end it in a heart beat, they are more hassle than what its worth.
