Hi,
I've left Vodafone broadband and I'd like to return my router for recycling uder the WEEE scheme, so it doesn't end up in landfil.
However, I cannot find anmy detials on the VF website about this,
Where can I send it please? I don't mind paying the shipping costs.
Thanks

@BarnFarmer If you haven't already please reach out to our Social Media team here, there is a form we need to fill in to get a returns bag sent out to you but we'll need to complete security to do so. Please feel free to link the agent to my post here so you don't need to repeat yourself 🙂

I just tried to ask for a return bag quoting your post but they said they couldn't and I needed to return it to a store or throw it in the bin!!!
Why is there always so much backwards and forwardsing to achieve even the simplest things? Simplest things like returning Vodafone’s hardware to Vodafone for example? Is this stuff really that difficult?

@HappyNomad Unfortunately it seems as though @BarnFarmer has been misadvised, which we can happily feedback internally. @BarnFarmer If you can let me know when you've sent over the link, I'll ask a colleague to pick this up for you so we can get a returns bag sent out 🙂

I had to check through the terms and conditions about a little thing. It's worth knowing who has "title" to the router supplied by Vodafone. This has changed in the T&Cs over time, so for anyone who has a contract where the title is not passed to them after 14 days, it's always going to be a good idea to return the router!
*If you are on a contract where you don't own the title, it's not a good idea to sell it off on eBay!!!!

I did eventually manage to contact someone on the phone who said a bag would be sent out to me for the return.
That was in March. I'm still waiting for the bag to arrive. I suppose it may be delayed due to the postal strike?
I'm trying on Facebook now.

During the process of moving from Vodafone to BT I was given the option to either dispose of the router myself or return it at Vodafone's expense. I chose to return it. Maybe the pedant in me made me read the emails in more detail...
