Hi, I have 2 Vodafone Connect in different locations. On checking the firmware on them they both have different versions. (19.2.0203-3261005 on one and 19.2.0307-3261013 on the other) they both have the same Hardware VCNT-1. I have tried to update the firmware on both but keep getting the same message" Unfortunately the Firmware upgrade has failed. Please try again at a future date."
1. Why do the routers have different firmware version when they were both installed around the same time?
2. How can I get the correct firmware downloaded on both routers?

I have 2 THG3000's like yourself (except they are both here, and I can only use one a a time) , and like yours they had the same 2 firmwares (19.2.0203-3261005 and 19.2.0307-3261013)
I recently had reason to swap the routers and the 19.2.0203-3261005 upgraded itself to 19.2.0307-3261019, but the other stayed at 19.2.0307-3261013
I'm convinced that they are slightly different hardware, despite there being no obvious differences.
Try doing a factory reset on the 19.2.0203-3261005 and then let it reboot itself and see if it updates.
I don't think the "Firmware Update" option ever works.
Why Vodafone won't give out any information on the routers I don't understand.

Thanks, the Factor reset worked. Now have the latest firmware 19.2.0307-3261019.
Noticed that you get the firmware update still doesn't work 😞

The fact your 19.2.0203-3261005 upgraded to 19.2.0307-3261019 seems to lend credence to my theory they are different hardwares.
There was one post where they said they have 19.2.0307-3261014, but I haven't seen anyone else state that.
Now that that router has upgraded do you have the ability to change the WiFi channels?

The upgraded firmware still doesn't allow you to change wifi channels.
Will see what happens I am able to update my other router.

I'm betting the other router won't upgrade. Strangely both my THG3000's allow me to change the WiFi channels.
I think it is because I used a Technicolor DGA4231 (same circuit board as THG3000, but with Technicolor firmware) for awhile and that seems to have stopped Vodafone configuring my THG3000 remotely.

I've been having a problem with my router constantly dropping connection at specific times of every day. When I try to check for firmware, it checks & does something for about 5 minutes & then comes back with an error, failed to install firmware & it dropped my connection, so I figured this was why it was happening, failed firmware updates being pushed causing the drop. So I performed a factory reset & it still showed 19.2.,0307 firmware & the router was performing normal, no drop outs. Then it dropped out the other day, I thought, oh no, here we go again. Well I checked router & I now have 19.4.0551-3269082 firmware. So it must have updated & rebooted automatically.
So far so good!
