Having recently upgraded to fttp, I find that the router UI is appallingly slow.; it has never been great but it seems the added workload of 200Mb connection is just too much for it. It is so slow in fact that it frequently times out before managing to save any configuration changes. In particular, this seems to afflict the LAN settings page where I am attempting to add static IP assignments. This makes the router nigh on impossible to use and pretty useless at the job. Does anyone else have this issue?
I would probably switch to a 3rd party router were it not for the VOIP service and the fact it too so much effort to get fttp working, I suspect I would have similar issues with a 3rd party "unsupported" device.

... tried disconnecting the WAN and it made no difference to responsiveness of the UI - which probably disproves my original thought that it might be throughput related. I am now wondering whether I have a duff router in some way. I've bought another on eBay and am going to substitute that and see if it makes any difference. It may jsut be the case that Vodafone assume no one will ever configure these things any differently to the default so have invested no effort in the config UI etc.

I have almost exactly the same situation with setting fixed ip addresses on the lan side, but also have the same issue with setting port forwarding. Press apply and the router gives the blue circle of doom before timing out. I’ve tried entering all 6 statics I have then pressing apply or alternatively adding 1 then apply ( works) adding a second apply and fail.
I also don’t appear to have any names in the dropdown, just unknown followed by the first octect of the MAC address.
This is a new router on a FTTC vdsl operating at 70 /16.
Have tried configuring with and without the internet connection plugged in.
