I switched to Vodafone broadband about a month ago and just today I’ve started getting an error 17c.1 code when I try to view Sky Go on my 1st gen iPad Pro when connected to my home broadband. It had worked fine up to now and I’d not knowingly changed anything. It still works if I connect to the free BT WiFi at my place of work or if I tether to my iPhone, also Vodafone. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app plus turning off “Private Wi-Fi Address” and “Limit IP Address Tracking” for the Vodafone network in the Wi-Fi settings on the iPad but none of these measures have helped. Other services such as iPlayer, ITV Player, Netflix and Prime Video are still working normally. If anyone here’s experienced similar and can provide a solution I’d be very grateful.

Copy/paste from Google search for "sky go 17c.1", first result.
I have been having the same problem, i have fixed this now by turning off the new private relay feature in iOS15, this is found in settings, iCloud, private relay beta, turn off.

Why Apple would push beta features and enable them by default I just don't understand. .

error 17c.1 is usally account or connection related. As you've just switched to Vodafone, a common issue can be with the "network extension" feature of any Sky Minis you have. If you have the option of using either the WiFi SSID from the Sky Minis or the Vodafone router then try switching.
*Sky minis don't play nicely with much third-party kit!

Thanks for the reply CL though I didn’t fully understand it.
With continued fiddling: updating iPad software and rebooting the Vodafone router it is now working again.

Thanks for the reply Ripshod. I had found that Sky forum page too but private relay was already set to off.
