Upgraded to new pro II hub, cannot get the app past firmware needs updating

Just upgraded to Pro II hub, installed app, unable to get past firmware needs updating.

Tried to update via the router web log in, to no avail.

Rebooted, reinstalled app, cleared cache you name it, will not work.

Unable to add any extenders or the 4g device.

Really frustrating, now having to revert back to old 3rd party kit to use WiFi properly.

Any suggestions?

@Richs72 Perform a factory reset on the router.

How long ago did you upgrade?

If you do decide to use your own router search the forum because this has been discussed before at length.

End of last week. Vodafone support wasn’t very supportive!

@Richs72  Keep going back to VF because they will either have to push something from their end or send a replacement. How did the factory reset go?

The reset worked thanks Mark, I am having some black spots at the rear of the house and upstairs, how can I obtain further boosters?

That's great news @Richs72, you'll need to speak to the team by calling 191 from a Vodafone phone, or via an online chat, about extra boosters.

Thanks for the advice, I did the reset and after about 30 mins of the router flashing various colours, it’s up and running, took a while to get the booster to work, looking good so far, need to check the furthest  rooms in the house and see how it fairs.
