When can you switch without paying extra fees?

My broadband ends 23 Sep and I've not had a notification yet of it ending which I thought ISPs had to do a month before your contract ends? I also read a while ago that you could switch ISP in the last 40 days of contract without fees, Is that still true?
So If I switch to another provider on the 13 Sep my last Vodafone bill would be calculated for 10 days of usage?

Hey @Craze34, If you cancel your service before your commitment end date, you maybe charged an Early Termination Fee. If you pop us a private message through our social channels, we'll be able to check your commitment end date, let you know if you'll receive an ETF for cancelling on 13 September and provide a better idea of what this would be.
